7^th Meeting of Musicians in the White Carpathians

The concerts of this festival take place in Valašské Klobouky and Brumov-Bylnice. During the three weekend days about two dozen musical, vocal, and folklore groups present their art. There are brass bands, dulcimer bands, choirs, rock and country bands, but also church music. The contribution of this festival is not only the multi-genre interlinking of the musical programs, but also the fact that the organizers give particular opportunities to schoolchildren´s and teenagers´ musical groups and soloists. Wallachian culinary specialities and drinks are provided plentifully during the whole weekend in the Valašské Klobouky square. A welcome addition to the menu for the public is a variety of wines supplied by wine-growers and musicians from the sunny South Moravian vineyards. The sampling takes place to the accompaniment of dulcimer bands.
