FF in Pardubice – Hradec Králové
A prestigious festival display of groups dedicated to the practice and presentation of folk art and craft from the Czech region. The programme of events, which is held in two towns, provides a wide range of opportunities to experience folklore – from live displays on stage including chamber music and dance performances of various types, the creation of stylized scenic compositions, a creative workshop, events aimed at educating and informing and also entertaining.
The festival opens every year with the Perstyn night – a performance by folk groups and a large folk craft fair in the Perstyn town square in Pardubice. On Saturday the programme of events continues in Hradec Kralove and you can attend the closing performances by the groups on Sunday back in Pardubice in the Castle grounds. (i)
